Mary was a very special lady. I enjoyed stopping by to visit with her and read scriptures from the Bible with her. I will miss my visits with her very much. We have the comfort from God at Revelation 21:4 that "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I hope that scripture brings some comfort to the family on the loss of a sweet, wonderful lady.

Mrs. Alexander was a gracious, loving lady, who extended hospitality to me and my family. As a sister-friend to my mother, and my aunt, she provided support and love. Our last, brief conversation came during the summer of this year. She telephoned, she said, just to talk to me (usually she'd call to speak to mom when my mother was visiting me following a recent surgery). I was grateful she took the time to think just of me. That was one of her loving, generous ways of kindness. My sympathy is with each of you, the family and friends, today. I pray your comfort, and your peace.
