It has been my immense pleasure to be able to call the Willoughby family my friends for 28 years. Eve was such a wonderful, loving, person. She was always soft spoken but got her point across. I am proud and blessed to call her my friend and will miss her greatly.
To Tristan and all of Eve's family: Please know you are all in my heart and prayers. Take pleasure in knowing that Eve is walking in Paradise with Jesus and we will all be together again.

Love and Sympathy,

Jerri

I was sorry to hear of Eve Willoughby passing. She was the first homeowner of a Habitat for Humanity house. As her sponsor and helper I got to know and appreciate her. Several years ago I was present at a Habitat meeting when she celebrated the paying off of the mortgage on her home. Together we burned the mortgage. My sympathy to her family.

My first memories of Eve came as a child/student at Locust School. I later became a teacher and colleague there. Eve has loved and mentored me all along the way from my childhood to adulthood. I love her and I always will. There's countless memories and stories of her... ones that I will cherish and never forget. The 'Locust School' girls and I will be there today to honor this wonderful lady. We all loved her so very much.

Eve was a dear sweet loving person. She not only served as my assistant for years...she was my mentor, a person who I looked up to for many things. In life you meet all types of people but only a few leave footprints on your heart. Eve, left her precious footprints on my heart. I am BLESSED and GRATEFUL that God put her in my life! My heart is heavy for her precious family. She loved you all so very much and was so proud of you!!! Our precious Lord will help get you through the difficult times and days to come. Just think about Ma Eve up there dancing and singing and telling everyone to "do the right thing!" Eve was an inspiration to many. Her warm smile, hugs, wise words, laughter, humor, and love will NEVER be forgotten!! One day...we will all be together again!

I came to know Eve several years ago through Locust Elementary School. She was such a great person and full of life. Eve's smile was contagious and such a joy to be around. They say in life you meet so many wonderful people in your walk in life. Eve was one I will cherish as my friend. My heart goes out to each family member during this time. May our Heavenly Father embrace you in his loving arms showing his love for you as well as letting you know Eve is at peace. One day we will all see each other again. Jesus Christ told us that.
