Willie Lee Hough

Willie Lee Hough transitioned to be with Our Lord and Savior Thursday, November 3, 2022, while a patient at Novant Hospital, Matthews, North Carolina. Willie, the son of the late John B. and LeAnna Lindsey Hough, was born February 4, 1939, in Stanly County, North Carolina. Gone from our home, but never from our hearts, Willie will be remembered for keeping things lively and making us laugh. Today, we celebrate his life, not his death.

He was educated in the Stanly County public schools; and was a retired employee with Michelin Tire Company, Albemarle, North Carolina.

Willie was affiliated with his family’s home church, Miracle Faith Temple of God Church, Albemarle. Always the adventurer, Willie lived in New York for many years before he returned to his hometown in North Carolina. He loved shopping and was always fashionably dressed. In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking and repairing automobiles. He was an excellent auto mechanic. If there was a problem with an automobile, Willie could repair it.

All the problems of the world are over and Willie has rejoined his parents; his siblings: Emma Jean Richardson, Linda H. Benson, Johnny Hough Jr., Samuel Hough Jr., Joshua Hough, and Charles Hough, in a place where everyday will be like Sunday.

Willie’s journey in this life has closed and we give thanks for sharing a life well lived. He will be remembered by his last surviving brother, Henry T. Hough; a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; other relatives and friends. We love  you Willie, but God loves you best.
