Thomas Alexander Bradley Jr., age 53, was called to eternal rest, Saturday, September 12, 2020. It is difficult to express our sadness as we mourn the loss of one who was loved and cherished. Thomas was a kind, fun-loving and easy going individual who was born December 1, 1966 in Remington, Union County, New Jersey. His biological parents were the late Marian Bradley and Gary Baker, Newark, NJ. At an early age, he was adopted by his maternal grandparents, the late Thomas Sr., and Elizabeth Gaines Bradley. Thomas’ presence is no longer of this earth, but his memory will live in our hearts forever.
He attended the Union County public schools and graduated in the Class of 1985 from Westfield High School, Westfield, New Jersey. He was a former employee with Jordan Lumber Company, Mt. Gilead, North Carolina.
Prior to joining Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Badin, North Carolina, Thomas was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Burnsville, North Carolina. At Poplar Springs he was a member of the Pastor’s Aide Committee.
Thomas enjoyed social media and communicating with his friends over the internet. Other hobbies included: watching CNN and listening to music. He was a devoted grandfather who relished the time spent with his family.
Thomas and Sharon Blackmon Bradley were united in holy matrimony in July 2011.
We celebrate Thomas’ life and although he was taken too soon, we know that the Almighty, in his infinite wisdom, is all knowing and all caring.
