Our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom looked around His garden and saw the perfect space. He then looked down upon this earth and saw your weary face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. Our Father’s garden is beautiful. He always takes the best… and on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, he called from labor to reward…
Shaquana Latrece Lilly. Born May 15, 1993, in Stanly County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Domita Lilly, Levander Deon Edwards, and the late Cleveland Davis. Although Shaquana fought a gallant fight through a grave illness for many years, she had a beautiful smile and glowing personality that endeared all she met. She is soaring with the Angels and the pain has gone away.
Shaquana was educated in the Stanly County public schools, and graduated in the class of 2012, Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle.
Always impeccably dressed, Shaquana was a diva who loved fashion, styling her hair, and applying flawless make-up. She loved her family unconditionally especially her son, “JC”, who was the ‘apple of her eye’. She was also fond of taking selfies, dancing, and traveling to her favorite destination-the beach.
Those who welcomed Shaquana to her Heavenly Home were her twins: Jacorie and Jaciah Lilly-Mason; biological father, Cleveland Davis; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Davis; and maternal grandfather, Jerry Harrell.
Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her son, Jeremiah “JC” Lilly-Mason; mother, Domita Lilly; surrogate father, Jermaine Lloyd; father, Levander (Jessica) Edwards; sisters: Shaquarius Lilly, Fatimah Edwards, and Shahadah Edwards; brothers: Shakeem Lilly, Shy’Metrius Lilly, Levander Deon “DJ” Edwards Jr., Caleb Owens Edwards, Richard McKinley, and Jayden Hathcock; maternal grandmother, Brenette Lilly; paternal grandparents, Levander and Betty Edwards; niece and nephew: A’Kira and Amir McAuley; special aunt, Regina Lilly; God Mother, Lakale Sturdivant; host of other relatives and friends.
“Good night, dear Shaquana, may flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest”.
