Ruth Howard

Ruth Howard, 95, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida, transitioned Friday, January 10, 2025.

Born in New York, New York on May 06, 1929, Ruth was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Merriweather.

Ruth retired from a private clothing industry in Philadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Clyde Christian, Deloris Griffin and Gloria Foster; and special nephew, Richard Jackson. We, the family members and close friends, truly thank God for the time we spent together here on earth.

Left to cherish and honor her memory are, brothers: Charles (Joan) Jackson, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Tommy (Nadene) Merriweather, Winter Haven, Florida; niece, Katherine (Charles) Peoples, Badin, North Carolina; special nephew, Raymond Jackson, Greensboro, North Carolina.
