In sweet peace, Our Beloved, Roger Elvander Ridenhour, gave up time for eternity, and was called to eternal rest, Thursday, May 18, 2023, while a patient at Atrium Health-Cabarrus, Concord, North Carolina. Roger was born December 20, 1951, in Stanly County, North Carolina. His parents were Mulzetta Ridenhour and Zeb Turner. Roger will be remembered for his quiet and unassuming demeanor. May he rest eternally in God’s Care.
Roger was educated in the Stanly County public schools and attended the historic Kingville High School, Albemarle, North Carolina. He was self-employed and owned a landscaping business.
His church affiliation was with Resurrection Community Church, Albemarle. In addition to loving the outdoors, Roger enjoyed fishing, walking, meeting people, and visiting with family and friends.
Roger’s parents and wife, Hattie Ridenhour preceded him in death.
Cherished and fond memories will forever live in the hearts of his sister, Lavet Ridenhour; brother, Lorenzo Ridenhour; aunts: Lucille Ridenhour and Georgia Mozone; uncles: Charlie Ridenhour and Raymond Ridenhour; a host of other relatives and friends.
“Death will never separate those who are bonded together by ties of love”.
