The Obituary
Mr. Robert Lawrence Thomas, age 67, entered eternal rest Tuesday October 05, 2021 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster, Charlotte, North Carolina. Robert, the son of the late J.B. Thomas & Edwina McQueen Thomas, was born on June 02, 1954 in Lumberton, North Carolina. He was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated from North Stanly High School, New London. Prior to declining health, robert was a maintenance man for Nobles BBQ in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Robert was a faithful member of nation of Christ Ministries of Charlotte, North Carolina. Robert enjoyed fishing, singing oldies but goodie, spending time with his family and watching sports. He was a avid Carolina Panthers & Tarheels fan.
Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Gregory Thomas and Wayne Kirk Thomas.
Left to cherish his memories, brothers, James (Sarah) Thomas Jr. and Carl Thomas, sisters, Lou Esther Johnson, Mildred (David) Hale, Frankie Clarke, Carolyn (Adil) Saleem) and Twila Thomas, goddaughters, Amber and Kalah, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
