Ralph Rozenda Louis Ashe was born in New Haven, Connecticut, September 19, 1947. His parents are Martha Coleman Ashe-Brinkley and the late Ralph Ashe. He departed his earthly life at his residence, Saturday, April 14, 2018. We give thanks to Our Almighty Savior for Ralph’s life.
Educated in the public schools of New Haven, Ralph attended Wilbur Cross High School. He enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Army.
After relocating to Albemarle, North Carolina, Ralph attended and enjoyed spirited services at Resurrection Community Church under the pastorage of Reverend Michael Stovall. In his leisure, Ralph enjoyed listening and playing musical instruments. He was a gifted musician who played the guitar and the drums. He had the opportunity to travel world-wide in the United States and other countries entertaining others in a profession he dearly enjoyed. He was a ‘jack of all trades’ who could repair and fix most anything.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his children: Miotroy Neustader and Christmas Ashe; his mother, Martha Ashe-Brinkley; his sister, Shelia Gandy; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
