Patricia Ingram Obituary

Our Precious Angel, Patricia René Ingram, transitioned to eternal rest, Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Clayton, North Carolina. Patricia entered this world as a ‘baby full of spice and everything nice’ on January 9, 1989, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The only daughter of Ronald and Pamela “Cookie” Lewis Ingram, she was the ‘apple of their eye’. Our hearts are broken as we gather, prematurely to say farewell to Patricia, who we loved, laughed, labored, and lived our lives with for thirty-two years. Gone from our home, but forever in our hearts. We celebrate Patricia’s life.

Always involved, adventurous, and full of wonder, Patricia was accomplished and excelled in school. After graduating from Hampton High School, Hampton, Virginia, she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina. She obtained her Master’s Degree, also in Business Administration, from Strayer University, Woodbridge Virginia. After college, she pursued a career in higher education and was employed with Strayer University, Raleigh, North Carolina as a financial counselor and coach.

Patricia was a competitive swimmer. In high school, she was on the swim team and member of USA Swimming. She also trained and modeled for Barbizon Modeling and Acting School.

The words, “let the work I’ve done, speak for me” captured the essence of the life of giving back to mankind that Patricia personified. She enjoyed volunteering with the Department of Social Services during their annual toy drive for foster children. She was computer savvy and provided her time and talent helping others master computer skills. She had a sweet spirit and always found time to help others.

She received Christ at Third Baptist Church, Hampton and later joined Morning Star Baptist Church, Hampton. In her leisure, Patricia enjoyed meeting people, traveling, playing cards, and reading. Other favorite interests included enjoying nature and being outside. Patricia was also an outstanding make-up artist.

She is soaring with the Angels and was welcomed to her eternal home by her maternal grandparents, Glenwood and Curtesteen Lewis, and her paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Margaret Ingram.

Patricia lives eternally in our hearts. She will be remembered and loved forever by her father and mother, Ronald and Pamela Ingram; brothers: Bradley, twin brother, Patrick (Omar) and Tavares (Lisa); very special friend, Alphonso “Zo” Frazier; best friend, DeMarkus Hill; extended family; the Crew: Lauren “La” Adams, John Stokes, Ryan and LaToya Adams; and little special man, Quentin “Que” Robinson.

“Good night, sweet princess. May flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest. We will see you in the Morning.”
