Our beloved Leroy was born on December 18, 1942. He transitioned to glory on January 13, 2023.
Leroy owned a Landscaping company in Melbourne before retirement. In 2018, he moved to Charlotte, NC. He enjoyed watching Lifetime Television, weekly outings to the Care Cafe and spending time with family. Leroy was previously married to Gladys Williams. And, to this union 5 children were born.
Leroy was preceeded in death by his mother, father, five brothers, four sisters and a daughter.
Leroy leaves to cherish his precious memories: Four children; Susan (Eric) Knight-Palm Bay, FL, Latrice (Antonio) Bader-Germany, Sandra Williams-Charlotte, NC, Ammie (Willie) Dowdy-Charlotte, NC. Eight grandchildren; Tavon Wilson, Natasha Barton, Joslynn Johnson, Jamaal Williams, Dionte' Tolbert, Micah Williams, Jalen Dowdy, and Ja'ana Dowdy. A host of great-grandchildren, nephew's, & niece's. Five sister's, cousins & special friends who loved and cherished him.
