Taking comfort in God's wisdom and omnipotence, we, the family of Latasha Rose Edwards, humbly give thanks for the years we shared her life. Born August 3, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, Latasha was the daughter of Gary and Elizabeth Adams Edwards. Gone from our home, but always in our hearts, her memory will be cherished through eternity.
She was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated in the class of 2004 from Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle, North Carolina. Latasha also attended North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina. Her passion and career were in the healthcare industry. Prior to health challenges, she was a medical technician. Her compassion and love for seniors contributed to her success in aiding seniors in their medical care.
In her leisure time, Latasha enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Saturday, December 14, 2024, Latasha was called to eternal rest. No more pain, no more suffering. She has finished her course on earth and is soaring with the angels.
She has joined her brother, Quinton Lamont Adams is a place of peace and tranquility.
Cherished and loving memories will forever live in the hearts of her sons: Tre'Shawn Edwards and Kortez Ayala; mother, Elizabeth Edwards; father, Gary Edwards; brother: Gerard (Yolanda) Edwards; aunts: Harriette (Bishop Ronnie) Carpenter, Fleta (Melvin) Hooker, Brenda Middlebrooks and Abbie Miller; uncle, Johnny (Hattie) Adams; special cousins: John Crump, Laneal Morgan, and Daquesha Merriman; a host of other relatives and friends.
