Katie Raley

Katie Ratliff Raley was born on June 28, 1934, to Willie Lee and Stella Dunlap Ratliff. Katie was a lifelong citizen of the Kingville community, in Albemarle. She attended Petersburg High School in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

A woman of faith; her church membership was held with Rose of Sharon, Troy, Norh Carolina.  In her leisure she could found studying her bible and reminiscing about the goodness of the Lord and Katie was an ordained Elder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Dallas Ratliff, Jessie Clyburn and Lucille Ratliff.

She leaves to her memory:  sisters: Lavonie (Bob) Harris and Angela (Robert) Fountain; a close friend, Elder Willard Carpenter; along with nieces, a nephew, and a host of great nieces, and nephews.
