Johnny Robinson Jr. age 69, departed life on earth for Eternity Wednesday, March 25, 2020 while a patient at Advent Health-Stanly, Albemarle, North Carolina. Born September 1, 1951 in Hamlet, Richmond County, North Carolina, Johnny was the son of the late Johnnie Sr. and Eva Mae Kent Robinson. We give thanks and honor to The Almighty for the many years we shared his life and for the numerous cherished memories.
He attended the Richmond County schools. Prior to retirement, he was employed in the construction industry.
Johnny enjoyed life and was very popular. He had a great sense of humor and always kept everyone laughing and enjoying themselves when he was around. Other sources of enjoyment were drawing and dancing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Taylor Robinson and siblings: Robbie Crump, Emmanuel Spratt, Oscar Freeman, Huel Ingram and Blondie R. Lynch.
Those who survive Johnny are his sisters: Juanita Hillian, Laurinburg, North Carolina, Velvet Cole, Albemarle, North Carolina, Maggie Robinson, Charlotte, North Carolina, Pauline Butler, Hamlet, North Carolina, Trina Robinson and Stephanie Rivera, both of Laurinburg, North Carolina; brothers: Ruffin Robinson, Albemarle, North Carolina, Johnny Robinson, Burlington, North Carolina, Kendale Robinson, Durham, North Carolina, Donald Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Johnny Robinson and Mitchell Quick, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; special aunt, Esther Quick; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
