Forever young, forever in our hearts, our beloved, Jerome Carson Nabinett Jr, life’s journey closed, Friday, April 9, 2021. Jerome was born October 4, 1986 in Statesville, North Carolina; and was the son of Beverly Scott and the late Jerome Carson Nabinett Sr. The music is quiet, the sun has set, but Jerome’s memory and our love for him transcends all time. He will be dearly missed.
Jerome was educated in the Stanly County public schools and attended North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina. He received his General Service Technician certification from Old Dominion Job Corps Center. Jerome was a gifted auto mechanic, whose services were sought by many. In his leisure, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles.
He has finished his course and has joined his father, Jerome Nabinett Sr. and his maternal grandmother, Celia Mae Scott, in a paradise, where the sun forever shines, the clouds and sorrow are no more.
Gone from among us, but forever in our hearts, Jerome’s family who survive are his wife, Courtney H. Nabinett, Albemarle, North Carolina; sons: Jerome Carson Nabinett III, and Jerrod A. Nabinett, both of Albemarle; mother, Beverly Scott, Badin, North Carolina; brothers: Arthur J. Nabinett, Charlotte and Jeremy S. Scott, Badin; sisters: Jeronica McMoore, Brenton, Texas, Brittney Nabinett and Bridgett Nabinett, both of Charlotte; paternal grandmother, Alma Nabinett, New London; a host of other relatives and friends.
