God in his infinite wisdom called Jean Coble Jackson from labor to eternal rest, Saturday, December 11, 2021, while a patient at Atrium Health-Stanly, Albemarle, North Carolina. Jean was born January 30, 1957, in Stanly County, North Carolina; and was the daughter of the late Willie Gene and Lela Griffin Coble. Jean was easy going and had a sweet spirit.
We give thanks to Our Lord and Savior for blessing us and allowing us to share Jean’s life. She will remain always precious in our hearts.
Jean was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated in the class of 1975 from West Stanly High School, Red Cross, North Carolina. Prior to declining health, Jean was employed in the textile industry.
Jean and her family were life-long members of Galilee Baptist Church, Oakboro, North Carolina. In her leisure, she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing solitaire, and watching the cooking and gardening television programs. Her favorite television programs were: The Pimple Popper and Chopped.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Rhonda Griffin Coble and David Lee Coble.
She was married to Robert Jackson.
Special memories of Jean will be forever revered by: her devoted daughter, Reka Jackson; son, Kevin (Shauna) Jackson; grandchildren: Keyshon Jackson, Nyla Jackson, Liyah Brooks, Caitlin Carpenter, Katherine Washington and Aubrey Spratt; brother, Rex (Beverly) Coble; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
