James Thomas Davis Jr. was born on Mother’s Day, May 8, 1988, in Stanly, County, North Carolina. He was the son of James Thomas Sr. and Felecia Christian Davis. James always brightened our days and brought a smile to our faces. Heaven has gained an Angel, and our family and friends will remember the love and happiness we shared with him.
He attended the Troup County, Georgia public schools and graduated from Calloway High School, Hogansville, Georgia. James was the owner and operator of Progressive Plumbing in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Always full of life, he loved listening to Rap Music, dancing, watching football and basketball games, and spending time with his children. Most of all, James was kind, loving and enjoyed making family and friends smile. He could turn a gloomy day into sunshine just by entering the room.
On Saturday, October 30, 2021, James departed his earthly life and entered Heaven’s gate. There to welcome him home were his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Elizabeth Christian, paternal grandmother, Sherry Davis, and uncle, Elbert Gene Christian. Gone too soon from our lives, we do not know why, but we know that Our Father knows the Master Plan and his decisions are wise and omnipotent.
James will be forever remembered and forever loved by his children: Camdyn, Jadianna, Riley and Sage; mother, Felicia C. Davis; father, James T.
