Franklin Levon Cole, age 76, was called to eternal rest Monday, February 3, 2025, at his residence in Albemarle, North Carolina. He was born May 5, 1948, in Wadesboro, North Carolina; and was the beloved son of Mozelle Cole. Giving honor and praise for Franklin’s life, we thank The Almighty for allowing us to share a life well-lived and loved. Franklin was kind and possessed a warm and endearing demeanor. He will be dearly missed.

Educated in the Stanly County public school, Franklin was a 1967 graduate of Kingville High School, Albemarle. He was employed in the textile industry for many years. Franklin was a former member of Union Chapel A.M.E Zion Church, Albemarle.

In his leisure time, Franklin enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite hobbies was riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the local motorcycle club, Carolina Thunder.

His mother, Mozelle, and brother, Ronnie Lee Cole, preceded him in death.

Cherished and loving memories will forever live in the hearts of his wife, Amy Aycock Cole; sons: Cedric Cole, Franklin Cole Jr., and Antwan Cole; daughter, Lashonda Aycock; eight grandchildren; special honorary niece, Delphina (Curtis) Davis-Lilly; other relatives and many friends.
