Fisher Wall, age 87, gave up time for Eternity when he answered the call of Our Lord and Savior on Monday, December 11,2017. He was a resident of Forrest Oakes Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Albemarle, North Carolina where he was known for his great sense of humor and pleasant demeanor.
Born August 13, 1930, in Anson County, North Carolina, Fisher was the son of the late Fleet, Sr. and Bertha ‘Wall’ Wall. He received his formal education in the Stanly County public schools where he graduated from Kingville High School-Class of 1949, Albemarle, North Carolina. Fisher served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired forklift driver with Jeffries Industries, Albemarle.
Fisher was affiliated with Saints Delight Church, Albemarle where he enjoyed attending Sunday School classes and fellowshipping with the members. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge. His hobbies included cooking a scrumptious meal and playing his favorite board games-especially Pinocchio.
Others who preceded Fisher in death in addition to his parents are his children: Garcia Krone and Almeshia Krone and brothers: Ben Wall, Leonard Wall and Fleet Wall, Jr.
He was previously married to Essie Kendall Wall.
Fisher is survived by one son and five daughters: Eddie F. (Reverend Arnette) Wall, Sr., Albemarle, North Carolina; five daughters: Wanda Gibbs, New Haven, Connecticut, Robin Barnes, New York, New York, Phyllis ( Hubert) Bowman, Badin, North Carolina, Cheryl (Kaleem) Robinson and Kimberly (Derek) Youmans, both of New York, New York; twenty-four grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; a great aunt, Catherine Wall, Albemarle, North Carolina; a sister in law, Annie Mae Wall, Norwood, North Carolina; other relatives and friends. We give thanks for his life and will miss him dearly.
