Eunice Kendell Obituary

Amid deep sorrow, yet with hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the life and legacy of Eunice Wright Kendall, who peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her residence in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Eunice was born on February 8, 1949, in Stanly County, North Carolina, to the late Emmanuel and Connie Allen Wright. She lived a life rooted in love, faith, and quiet strength—a life that touched all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Though she is no longer present in our home, Eunice remains forever in our hearts. She will be lovingly remembered for her radiant smile, her gentle spirit, and the warmth and kindness she so freely shared with family, friends, and all whose lives she graced. May she now soar peacefully with the angels.

Eunice received her education through the Stanly County Public Schools and attended West Badin High School, Badin, North Carolina. She dedicated many years of her life working in the textile industry at Wiscassett Mills in Albemarle.

A devoted woman of faith, Eunice was a lifelong member of Saint Mark Friendship Church of God, Badin. She faithfully served her church community as a Sunday School teacher and as a member of the Usher Board. Her love for the Lord was evident in her service, her compassion, and the way she lived her life each day.

Eunice cherished her family. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her siblings: James Wright, William Wright, Clark Wright Jr., Mark Wright, Evan Wright, Bobby Wright, Elijah Wright, Elder Betty Turner, Mae Wright, Connie Rushing, and Lois Bennett.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be forever remembered by her sisters: Mary (Josh) Williams Sr. and Bonnie (Henry) Hinson; her devoted nieces, Karen Bennett, Evangelist Rhonda Vinson and Patricia Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
