Born December 25, 1933 in Columbia, South Carolina, Eula Mae Stephens Peterson, was the daughter of the late William Stephens and Annie Mae Johnson Stephens. Eula entered Eternal Rest Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare-Northeast, Concord, North Carolina. We celebrate Eula’s life and give thanks to Our Lord and Savior for the many years we shared her life.
She was educated in the public schools of Whiteville, North Carolina and for many years, was employed with Federal Pacific Company, Albemarle, North Carolina.
Eula was a devoted member of St. Paul Friendship Church of God, Albemarle where she was a member of the Usher Board. In her leisure, she enjoyed baking, shopping and helping to rear her grandchildren.
Her husband, George Peterson Jr.; son, Thomas Peterson and brothers: L.D. Stephens and Junior Stephens preceded her in death.
Fond and loving memories are left with Eula’s children: Johnnie Peterson, George (Rita) Peterson, Jr., Eula Hampton and Patricia Harris, all of Albemarle, Eva Allen, Charlotte, North Carolina, Sherland Peterson, Durham, North Carolina, Brenda Miller and Saundra Lloyd, both of Charlotte; a host of grandchildren to include: Odell Lloyd, Wendell Lloyd, Antonio Peterson, Mario Peterson, Maurice Peterson, Michelle Peterson, Timothy Parker, Latasha Parker, Jimmy Parker, Jr., Steve Parker, Timothy Waddell, Quanita Copeland, Gary Peterson, Kimberly Peterson, Duron Hampton, Shykelia Morrison; host of great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Murphy, Albemarle; other relatives and friends.
