On Sunday, November 8, 2020, God sent one of his faithful servants to blossom in His Garden.
As we remember Desi Tromain Shine, we give thanks to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for
his fifty years of life with us. He was well loved by his family and friends. An accomplished
real estate agent, entrepreneur, artist, political activist, and friend, Desi was the son of the late
Marion Shine and Fleet Wall III; and Jonathan Clark. Desi was born November 2, 1970 in
Albemarle, NC and residence his younger years in Smokey Bottom. He has finished his course,
his journey on earth is complete and he soars with the Angels in Our Father’s Heavenly home.
Desi attended South Stanly High School, Norwood, NC and furthered his education at Stanly
Community College, Albemarle, NC and Brightwood Real Estate College, Charlotte, NC. He
was employed with Rite Time Realty, Badin, NC and the owner of TaMiya Salon, Albemarle,

Desi accepted Christ at an early age and was a life-long member of Bennettsville African
Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Norwood, NC where he was a former and devoted member of
the Trustee Board. He was the Secretary of the Stanly County Board of Elections, Albemarle,
NC; was former Vice-Chair of the Stanly County Democratic Party; County Delegate to the State
Democratic Party and served in several other capacities within the Better Badin Community. As
a realtor, he specializes in sales and home restoration. In his leisure, he was an avid reader. Desi
was civic minded and interested in the well-being of the community. In his early years, he was
involved in the Boy Scout, where he served as a Scout Leader. He loved taking the boys in the
community camping and hiking. “Uncle Desi” is what he was called by his younger cousins.
Waiting at those Beautiful Gates of Heaven to welcome Desi to his Heavenly home are his
