David Perry

David Edward Perry, age 42, entered Heaven’s Gate, Saturday, February 12, 2022. David was a very kind, well loved, and easy going individual. He was born March 8, 1979, in Stanly County, North Carolina; and was the son of Henry Morrison Sr. and the late Pamela Hatley. When tomorrow begins and David is no longer present in our lives, his memory will remain forever in our hearts. He will be remembered with fondness and thanksgiving for the years we shared his life.

He was educated in the Stanly County public schools and attended Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle, North Carolina. David was employed in the lawn service, maintenance and landscaping industry. The lawns he serviced were well manicured and landscaped with meticulous artistry.

His church affiliation was with Harvest Church, Albemarle, and there he enjoyed the fellowship of the parishioners. In his leisure, he loved to fish, ride dirt bikes, and drive racing cars. David was engaging, a delight to be with, and others enjoyed his company.

He is survived by his daughter, Haynes Kimrey, Albemarle; son, Dallas Smith, Albemarle; father, Henry Morrison Sr.; sisters: Nicole Perry, Jacksonville, Florida, Reishana Morrison, New Haven, Connecticut, and Consuela (Kenneth) Little, Albemarle; brothers: Duane Perry and Henry Morrison Jr., both of Albemarle; special aunt, Catherine “Elaine” Morrison, Albemarle; aunts: Betty (Levander) Edwards and Mary Hearne, both of Albemarle; uncle, John (Gloria) Morrison, Albemarle; nieces: Kiera, Kniya, Kadajah, Zyana and Onyx; nephews: Jarobi, Jaquez and Rico; a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends: Denatus Ratliff, Denico Autry, and Jeremy McCormick.
