Daniel Keith Holt, age 27, was born July 22, 1993 in Stanly County, North Carolina. He was the son of Shelley R. Holt. Daniel was easy going, adventurous and generous with his time. Daniel was loved dearly, and he will be missed.
He was educated in the Mecklenburg County public schools and was employed with Pizza Hut.
Daniel was a talented musician. He enjoyed listening to music, writing music and rapping. He also cherished the time he spent with family and friends and took pride in being the best brother and uncle possible. Despite being sick for much of his life from complications of Type 1 diabetes, Daniel tried to keep a smile on his face and push through the pain to enjoy himself as much as possible.
His maternal grandfather, for who he was named, Danny Holt, preceded him in death.
His death on Monday, September 21, 2020 at such an early age has deeply saddened our family and friends.
Family and friends who will forever remember Daniel with love and affection are his mother and stepfather, Shelley R. Holt and Kevin Moore, Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Ashley M. Holt, Charlotte; brother, Brandon L. Moore, Charlotte; nephew, Vance Littles Jr., Charlotte; maternal grandmother, Rose H. Holt, Albemarle, North Carolina; maternal great grandmother, Marie Holt, Albemarle; aunt, Deborah (Rick) Odom, Albemarle; uncle, Max (Christina) Holt, Greensboro, North Carolina; cousins Brittney Little, Evan Odom and Lauryn Odom , Albemarle; along with other family and friends.
After Glow
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.

of smiles when life is done.
