Daniel Boone Chambers Jr. was called from labor to rest, Monday, April 29, 2024, at his residence in Albemarle, North Carolina. Monrainy, as he was affectionately known, was born August 11, 1957, in New London, Stanly County, North Carolina; and was the son of Daniel Chambers Sr. and Willie Bell Williams- Sturdivant. Daniel will be remembered for his great sense of humor, ability to embrace, and bring a smile to the faces of the people he encountered along life's journey. He brightened our days, and his memory will be cherished for the years we shared his life.
He was educated in the Stanly County public schools and was employed in the construction industry for many years. In addition to having a great sense of humor, Daniel was kind, considerate and loved traveling. He will be remembered most of all for his generosity to family and mankind. He loved his family and shared not only his time, but his talent, and treasure.
Daniel's parents, Daniel Sr., and Willie Bell; son, Cleveland Earnest Davis; granddaughter, Shaquana Lilly; brother, Tommy Williams, and life long partner, Carol Davis preceded him in death.
Loving and cherished memories will forever live in the hearts of his daughter, Lottie Davis; grandchildren: Shamyshea Davis, Richard McKinley, Gerald Harris Jr., Laquavian Harris, Jaquavian Harris, Dhilyn Hollis, and Amber Davis; twenty-three great grandchildren; brothers: Johnny Sturdivant, Willie Sturdivant, Charles Williams, Joey Chambers; sisters: Shirley Williams and Dorothy Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
