Clyburn Leroy Moses Jr.

Clyburn Leroy Moses Jr. transitioned to eternal rest, Monday, March 11, 2024. Leroy, as he was affectionately known, was born September 26, 1936, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Clyburn L. Moses Sr. and Rosie Lee Miller Moses. Impeccably dressed, radiant smile, and winning personality were memorable attributes Leroy possessed. His memory will forever be cherished. May he rest in peace until we meet again.

Leroy was educated in the Stanly County public schools and was employed for many years with Morgan Motor Company, Albemarle, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Sammie Lee, James, Lester and, Lloyd Frank; sisters:  Jessie Mae Scott, Rosetta Clyburn, and Mary Moses.

Leroy is survived by his sons: Stephen (Callie) Moses, Meless Bruton, Jonathan Burch, Derrick (Tammy) Moses, and Oscar (Cynthia) Moses; daughters: Leatrice Moses, Vanda Stanback, and Tanya Bruton; brothers: David Moses, Herman Moses Sr., Edward Lee Moses, and L.C. (Deborah) Moses; former wife, Maxine Moses-Caple; god-daughter, Cathy Owens; a host of other family members and friends.
