Christine Patricia (Brown) Connor

Christine Patricia Brown Connor, age 75, was called from labor to reward, Sunday, June 5, 2022, while a patient at Mitchell Mack Hospice House, Mooresville, North Carolina. Our beloved Christine was born January 9, 1947, in Stanly County, North Carolina to the parentage of Aurther and Jamie Owens Brown. Christine was dearly loved and will be remembered and revered for the happiness and beautiful memories she shared with her family and friends.

She was a 1965 graduate of North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina and was employed in the textile industry for years.

Christine was a member and enjoyed spirited services at First Baptist Church, New London, North Carolina.

Her parents; husband, James Edward Connor Sr.; son, Henry “Hank” Brown; Brown brothers: Artis, Billy, Harold, and Ernest; Connor stepchildren: Phyllis, James Jr., Kenneth, and Larry; grandchildren: Latoya Wiggins and T’Keyah Connor, preceded her in death.

Those who survive and will forever cherish her memory are her daughters: Tonya Brown and Tracy Connor; sons: Shawn Brown and Timothy Brown; stepchildren: David Connor, Ronnie Connor, Steve Connor, Mary Connor, and Shelby Stywall; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Gracie Coble; daughter-in-law, Davita Brown; sisters-in-law: Ollie Brown and Margaretta Bown; special friends: Mary Terry and Pamela Grier; special cousins: Martha Cowans, JB Owens, Helen Davis, and Minister Margaret “Frizzy” Young; a host of family members and friends.
