Remembering….Chase D’ Carlo Bruton
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
Chase D’Carlo Bruton, beloved son of Douglas R. Bruton and LaDeborah Wright Bruton, was born May 9, 1998, in Stanly County, North Carolina. Chase gave up time for Eternity, Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was loved and will forever live in our hearts. We give thanks to the Almighty for blessing us and allowing us to share Chase’s life. His life was short, but we have so many fond memories that will help to substain and grant us solace.
Chase was a 2016 Rocky River High School, Charlotte, North Carolina graduate, where he played football. He earned a certificate in commercial driving and was formerly employed with Sabor and Blue Crew Painting Company.
He was baptized and attended Rose of Sharon Friendship Church of God, Ansonville, North Carolina. In his leisure, Chase was an avid football enthusiast. His favorite NFL team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed martial arts and weight lifting.
His paternal grandmother, Ella Bruton, and maternal grandfather, Clark Wright Sr. preceded him in death.
When tomorrow begins the music is quiet, the sun has set on the life of Chase, but his memory will always remain precious in the hearts of his parents, Douglas and LaDeborah Bruton; sister, Adacia Bruton; maternal grandmother, Minister Mary Wright; paternal grandfather, Fred Bruton; aunts and uncles: Bernice Wright, Angel (Manville) Johnson, Clark (Shirley) Wright Jr., Aaron (Joyce) Wright, Earl Wright, and Janette (Samuel) Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends.
