Remembering
Carrie Kay Lindsay, age 64, gave up time for Eternity, Friday, April 28, 2023, at her residence in Albemarle, North Carolina. She never said she was leaving, she never said goodbye. She was gone before we knew it, and only Our Lord and Savior knew why. Carrie was born November 22, 1958, in Stanly County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Mildred Barnes and Johnny Bradley. When tomorrow begins and Carrie is no longer in our midst, we will remember and give thanks for the years we shared her life.
Educated in the Stanly County public schools, Carrie attended Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle, Norh Carolina. Her profession was that of a loving and devoted homemaker to her children and family members.
Carrie enjoyed church services at Resurrection Community Church, Albemarle. She also loved listening to music, walking, and spending time with her grandson.
Her parents, son, Bobby Lindsay, and brother, Wayne Knight preceded her in death.
Loving and fond memories will forever be cherished by her daughter, Carrie N. Lindsay; son, Derrick Lindsay; grandson, Ni’Bralyn Turner; husband, Bobby Lindsay; brothers: Herman (Brenda) Knight and Douglas Knight; sisters: Lois Preston and Lizzie Shine; sisters-in-law: Nellie L. Steel and Judy M. French; brother-in-law: James L. Lindsay; nieces: Trinity Knight, Charline S. (Jeff) Kelly, and Deloris Steel; nephews: Walker Steel and Javone Steel; a host of other relatives and friends.
