She was the beloved daughter of Benjamin and Juanita McLendon Lilly who was born, August 7, 1954, in Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina. Always feisty, full of zeal, Brenette kept things lively and entertaining. Gone from our home, but always in our hearts, Brenette will be forever loved and revered.

She received her formal education in the Stanly County Public schools and attended Kingville High School, Albemarle. Prior to retirement, Brenette was employed with Summer Expression for many years.
