Anthony Donterious Richardson, age 33, answered Our Heavenly Father’s call to eternal rest Friday, August 7, 2020 while a patient at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. He was born July 8, 1987 in Albemarle, Stanly County, North Carolina. Anthony was the son of the late Bridget Peoples and Henry Richardson. After his mother’s death, he was reared by his grandmothers: Priscilla Richardson and the late Angeline Peoples. Anthony was outgoing, loving and had a kind heart. We give thanks for Anthony’s life and the memories we will hold dear. He was loved and will be missed.
He was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated in 2006 from North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina. Anthony was employed with Mattress Firm, Incorporated, Atlanta, Georgia.
Anthony attended church from a young age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church, New London. At Shiloh, he was member of the Mixed Choir and a member of the West Badin Community Choir, Badin. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time with family and friends. Anthony was jovial and always kept things lively.
His mother, Bridget Peoples and sister, Brittney Peoples, preceded him in death.
When tomorrow starts without Anthony, and he is not here for us to see, we will remember him fondly and treasure our memories forever. We say, good-bye Anthony, Sleep Well, we will see you Again!
He is survived by his sisters: Ashely Peoples and Aliana Richardson; brothers: Dominic Richardson and Tony Woosley; grandmother, Priscilla Richardson; father, Henry (Nicole) Richardson; aunts: Carolyn Peoples, Barbara Hinson, and Pamela Smith; uncles: Aaron Richardson, Lonnie (Deborah) Peoples, Steve (Crystal) Peoples, and Larry (Aciba) Peoples; “guide mother”, Georgette Edgerton; other family members and friends; special friends: Wednesday Boulware, Ranier Long, Janna Truesdale, Jeri-Mikel Edgerton, and Shelena Peoples.
