Aaron Demetrius Richardson, age 49, entered God’s Heavenly home, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his residence in New London, North Carolina. Aaron, the son of Priscilla Leak Richardson and the late Theodore Lilly, was born October 6, 1971, in Stanly County, North Carolina. Aaron was loving, easy going, kind, and always brightened our days. He never said he was leaving, he never said goodbye, he was gone before we knew it, and only Our God knew why. It has been difficult to say goodbye, but we are comforted in knowing that Aaron is resting with Our Lord and Savior and soaring with the Angels.
He was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated from North Stanly High School, New London. Prior to declining health, Aaron was a car salesman and was employed with Cloninger Toyota, Salisbury, North Carolina.
A believer, Aaron was reared in a Christian home. He enjoyed many spirited church services at Albemarle Church of Christ, Albemarle, North Carolina where he was a member. In his leisure, he enjoyed cheering for his favorite NFL team, The Atlanta Falcons. Aaron was always impeccably dressed and enjoyed driving beautiful automobiles. Most of all he loved family and the many gatherings they spent celebrating holidays and other special occasions.
Aaron will be loved and remembered for eternity by his son, Cordarius Richardson; granddaughter, Zariyah Richardson; a devoted and loving mother, Priscilla Richardson; brothers: Henry (Nicole) Richardson, Theodore Lilly Jr., and Dorsey (T.T.) Lilly; sisters: Wanda McLendon and Vivian Little; nieces and nephew: Alaina Richardson, Keshia McLendon, and Tony Woolsey; special friends: Phillip Cunningham, Quentin Thomas, Tony Peeke, James Nabinett, Tez Brown, Marlon Brown and The Moss Lane Crew (Dep, Greek, Philhouse, Harry O., Russell, Big Hen from the Chicken Penn, Chubb, The Old Man, The Shaker-The Heart Breaker, Novacane and Apple); a host of other relatives and friends.
We Wrote Your Name
We wrote your name in the sand, the waves washed it away.
We wrote your name in the sky, the wind blew it away.
So, we wrote your name in our hearts, and that is where it will stay.
We love You, Aaron
