William Emanuel Wright

William Emanuel Wright, age 52, died in an automobile accident June 13, 2019. He was born February 28, 1967 in Stanly County, North Carolina, and was the son of the late William Earl Wright and Sarah Jane Cagle Wright.

“Doc”, as he was fondly known, was educated in the Stanly County public schools. He graduated in the Class of 1985 from North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina. Prior to declining health, William was a truck driver with Rising Son Transport Industries, Axton, Virginia. Driving was not only a career for William, it was something he enjoyed.

William attended St. Mark Holiness Church of God, Badin, North Carolina where his family has been members for several years. William was fond his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was married to Beale Graves Wright, who preceded him in death.

Our family dearly loved William. The joys we have shared and the memories we have made through the years will sustain us until we meet again.

Survivors are, his sons: William (Jamia) Wright and Tysean Wright, both of Albemarle, North Carolina; grandchildren: Adara Wright, William Wright and Ju Wright; sisters: Gloria A. Robinson, Albemarle, Denice (Henry) Harris, Badin, North Carolina, Rachel (Willie) Threadgill, Lexington, North Carolina and Wilhelmina (Jerry) Green, Salisbury, North Carolina; brothers: John (Pam) Cagle, New London, North Carolina and Earl Wright, Wadesboro, North Carolina; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
