Truvillian Threadgill Obituary

On Monday, December 24, 2018 Truvillian Ridenhour Threadgill, 60, ended this warfare of life at Carolinas Medical Center - Main, Charlotte, North Carolina with her family at her bedside. We, her family, bow in humble submission to the Will of the Almighty God.

Born March 15, 1958, she was the daughter of the late George and Estella Broadway Ridenhour; and was the fourth oldest child of six. Trudy as she was called by many was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Ronald, Tommy, Chris, Darrell and Greta.

Trudy was a 1976 graduate of West Stanly High School, Red Cross, North Carolina. In high school she was an exceptional athlete, where she played basketball, soft ball and was the shot put record holder for many years. She later attended Stanly Community College, Albemarle, North Carolina and received her certification in Nursing. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboy NFL team. Trudy also found great pleasure in cooking and helping others.

Reared in a Christian household, she held church membership with Spirit and Truth Ministries, Albemarle under the pastorage of Pastor Darryl and First Lady Roda Medley. She loved her pastor, the membership affiliation and the spirited church services.

Left in this warfare of life to hold fond memories are: her husband, A. Larry Threadgill, of the home; two sons: David A. Ford and W. Demar Huntley, both of Albemarle; five grandchildren: Chris, Davionne, Laterrian, David, Jr., and Caleb; a sister, Kare (Ted) Kluttz, Oakboro, North Carolina; aunts and uncles: Marie Mozong, Lucille R. Christian, Margaret Ridenhour, Mazell Broadway, Rose Ingram, W.Pearl Ingram, Charlie Ridenhour, Raymond Ridenhour, Ralph Ridenhour, and Gerald Ridenhour; her four prayer warriors: Reverend Judy (Oscar) Little, Valerie Tyson, Gale Allen and Elizabeth (Xavier) Allen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
