Tanisha (Hamilton) Bryant

On a warm autumn day our beloved, Tanisha Shanelle Hamilton Bryant was welcomed into our lives and into our hearts. Born October 9,1976 in Stanly County, North Carolina, Tanisha was the daughter of Phyllis Hamilton & Larry Robinson and Michael & Jackie Lilly. During this most difficult time as we mourn the loss of our dear Tanisha, we give thanksgiving to the Almighty for blessing us with Tanisha, who was a ‘ray of sunshine’. We thank him for his Grace and Mercy and know that he will sustain us through our faith in the days ahead.

Tanisha was educated in the Stanly County public schools and graduated from Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle, North Carolina. She furthered her education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University, Greensboro, North Carolina. She later transferred to Montgomery Community College, Troy, North Carolina where she received her nursing degree. Tanisha was employed as a licensed practical nurse with Stanly Manor Nursing Center, Albemarle.

She and her family were affiliated with St. Delight Church, Albemarle where they enjoyed spirited church services and fellowshipping with the members. Tanisha loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Traveling was a favorite hobby of Tanisha, but she traveled only by automobile. Cooking and watching the Food Network and Discovery channels were also favorite pastimes. Tanisha was fashion conscious; she especially loved on-line shopping and followed the latest fashion trends.

Thursday, May 24,2018, Tanisha joined others of faith in a place where we are told is perfect in every way. On January 30,2018, her Angel and 10 years old daughter, Micah, was called home to be with the Lord. Other family members who preceded her in death, welcomed Tanisha to her Eternal home.

Tanisha and Michael Bryant knew each other for twenty-six years and were joined in Holy Matrimony for twelve years. They were a loving couple who were devoted to their family.

Tanisha will live in our hearts forever. Her life will be cherished and remembered by her husband, Michael Bryant, Albemarle; daughter, Shaniya; son, Camryn; parents: Phyllis & Larry Robinson, and Michael & Jackie Lilly, Albemarle; sisters: Chermaine Robinson, Kristen Lilly, Sasha Lilly, Sha’ Michael Lilly, Ashanta Shankle, Kida Jackson, Kyla Wilson, D’Toya Dove and Kita Colson; a very special aunt and uncle, Angela H. and Tym Scott(who helped rear Tanisha); maternal aunts and uncles; paternal aunts and uncles; father-in-law, King (Juanita) Bryant; mother-in-law, Mary( Franklin) James; sister-in-law, Terri Blackwell; brother-in-law, Kingsley Bryant; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
