There is a comforting thought at the close of the day, it is, that our lives are richer and blessed to have known Lisa Ann Campbell Baldwin. Lisa had a sweet spirit, who was born December 25, 1964 in Darlington, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Gearline Meaders Campbell and Walter (Jennie) Campbell. Lisa was called to her Eternal home, Wednesday, December 26, 2018. We are thankful for the years we shared her life. She will live in our hearts eternally.
Educated in the Stanly County, North Carolina public schools, Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Albemarle Senior High School, Albemarle, North Carolina. She was employed as a Development Specialist with Monarch Services and Elite Care Services.
A believer, Lisa and her family were members of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Albemarle. Lisa loved her family and enjoyed entertaining at her home. To say she spoiled her nieces and nephews is an understatement, for she adored them. Her special nephews who she loved as her sons: Fuquan Wiggins, DJ Peoples and Jamel Campbell were the ‘apples of her eyes’. Other hobbies included enjoying lively conversations with friends and family, cooking and baking.
A brother, Tony D. Campbell, preceded her in death.
Lisa and Charles R. Baldwin were a devoted couple who were married in 2013. They had a friendship that spanned over thirty-five years.
Her beautiful smile, helping hands and warm demeanor will be remembered and cherished by her husband, Charles R. Baldwin, Albemarle; parents: Gearline M. Campbell and Walter (Jennie) Campbell, Albemarle; brothers: Walter B. ( Melanie) Campbell, Albemarle, Anthony M. Campbell, New Haven, Connecticut and Joseph W. Johnson, Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters: Angela Campbell, Albemarle, Chemega (Donald) Peoples, Badin, North Carolina, Beverly Cutrina Hughes, Charlotte, Octavis Harper, Cheraw, South Carolina and Lacina Renae Campbell, Albemarle; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Baldwin, Asheboro, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Anthony (April) Baldwin (who Lisa & Reese always took vacations with); a host of brothers and sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends.
