Kevin Edward Harris

Kevin Edward Harris gave up time for Eternity, Thursday, June 27, 2019 while a patient at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Albemarle, North Carolina. Born October 24, 1958 in Stanly County, North Carolina, Kevin was the son of the late Norman Edward Harris and Sue Daniels Harris. We give honor and glory to Our Father for blessing us and allowing us to share Kevin’s life for so many years.

He was educated at the Greenwood Center Vocational Workshop, Albemarle where he mastered a vocation; and was later employed at the center as a paper shredder technician. Kevin enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, listening to music, dancing and watching television.

Kevin was a member of East Macedonia Baptist Church, Norwood, North Carolina.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his devoted sister, Kathy Goodson, Concord, North Carolina; niece, Kesha (Reginald) Graham, North Charleston, South Carolina; great nieces: Kevona Wall and Brittney Wall; aunts: Sadie Lawings, Concord, North Carolina, Edna Daniels, Colorado Springs, CO., Margie Harris, Badin, North Carolina, Bessie Harris, Norwood, North Carolina and Unistene Harris, Mocks Corner, South Carolina; uncle, Bobby Harris, Greensboro, North Carolina; great-great nephew, Cassidy Aaron Sumpter; two foster brothers, Bernard (Thomasine) Watkins and Nathaniel Harris; special friends: The Group Home Crew, Bobby Dunlap and Antwan Hamilton; other relatives and friends.
