Martin Lucas Caple, Sr.

Mr. Martin Lucas Caple Sr., age 68, entered eternal rest, December  17, 2023 at his residence in Albemarle, North Carolina. Lovingly known as, "Pee Wee" he was born February 20, 1955, in Albemarle, North Carolina; and was son of the late Elizabeth Caple Moore and John Thomas Medley. Martin was jovial, outgoing, and was a friend to all. His memory will forever live in our hearts. He has finished his course on earth and may God hold him in the palm of His Hand.

He was educated in the Stanly County public schools system and was employed as a concrete finisher at Wilbert Vault Company for many years. Martin had a beautiful singing voice and he enjoyed singing. An avid sports enthusiast, Martin was a staunch supporter of all sports, especially the NFL  New England Patriots and the Carolina Tar Heels basketball teams.

Martin has joined his loving parents, Elizabeth and Charlie Moore; his  brothers: Richard  Medley, Milton Medley, and Roger Medley; and his grandmother, Gracie Caple, who he dearly loved, in a place of tranquility and peace.

Loving and everlasting memories will be cherished by his wife, Cynthia "Diane" Caple; daughter, Desiree (Joshua) Martin; sons: Martin L. Caple Jr., Quincey (Minnie) Washington, and David Cunningham; ten grandchildren: Jamale, Nakhaya-Grace, Quintara, Chazlyn, Nylah, Kaylah, Kiylah, Laylah, Desmon and Jayvion; bonus grandchildren: Joshua, Ruben, Simeon, Elisha and Gabriel; two great grandchildren: Jayceon and Aries; father, John (Minnie) Medley; sisters: Pamela Gomillion and Donna Medley; brothers: Marvin Moore (Marie Broome) John W. Medley, Jeffery (Edith) Flake, Reverend Darryl (Rhodda) Medley, Eric (Sonia) Ridenhour, and James Ridenhour; aunts and uncles: Audrey (Michael) Duke, Sylvester (Elaine) Caple, Charlie (Willie Bell) Caple, Leon Caple, and  Ponzie (Althea) Caple; mother-in-law, Leacy Mae Flake; a host of other relatives and friends.
