Darrell Chappell

Mr. Darrell Lee Chappell, age 58, was born December 07, 1965 in Richmond County, North Carolina to Janette Whittington Chappell and  the late Wilson Eugene Chappell. He departed this life Friday, February 09, 2024. His presence is no longer with us, but he left a legacy of kindness and generosity that will forever live in our hearts.

A man of great character and laughter, Darrell enjoyed being outdoors and collecting trinkets on his adventures. Darrell was a family man and enjoyed sharing a good time with his loved ones.

He received his elementary and secondary education in the Richmond County public schools and was employed in the food industry. Darrell was a former member of Abundant Life Church, Rockingham, North Carolina.

In addition to his father, Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Fesperman Chappell.

Darrell is survived by his mother, Janette Whittington Chappell; son: David Lamar Chappell- Fesperman; daughters: Jessica Chappell and Crystal Burr; sister, Savannah Honeycutt; grandchildren: Kinstin, Charity, Trinity, Serenity, Caylynn, Kourtlynn, Allison and Miley; brothers: Michael Chappell, James Chappel, and Eugene Chappell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
