Teddy Marshall Owens

Today we bow in humble submission to thank God for blessing us with your son, Teddy Marshall Owens, affectionately known as “T. Groove”, who was born July 11, 1966 in Albemarle, North Carolina to the late T.C. Marshall and Annie Mae Williams Owens. On Saturday, June 17, 2017 Teddy gave up time for Eternity and journeyed home to be with our Lord and Savior.

Teddy received his formal education in the Stanly County public schools and graduated from North Stanly High School-Class of 1984, New London, North Carolina. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy. He was employed with the Medical Hospital, Victoria, Texas for many years. Spending time with family and friends and listening to music were favorites pastimes for Teddy.

Those who survive and mourn the loss, love and the fond memory of Teddy are, his wife, Patrina R. Owens, Albemarle, North Carolina; three sons: David (Kensey) Carpenter, Albemarle, North Carolina, Stedman( Christina) McDonald, New London, North Carolina and Nehemiah Owens, Uncasville, Connecticut; a daughter, Alanna Wall, Norwood, North Carolina; two brothers: Carlos Owens, High Point, North Carolina and James (Alice) Goode, Jacksonville, North Carolina; four sisters: Veda (Willis) Jackson, High Point, North Carolina, Tessia Kendall, New London, North Carolina, Rachel Renee Williams, Badin, North Carolina and Loletta Wiley, Charlotte, North Carolina; a special friend, Arlene Ozuna, Port Lavaca, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The road into sunset

Is the one we must all tread.

And though the thought brings us sorrow

When a loved one goes ahead.

Still there is a comfort in knowing

We shall meet again someday

When grief and pain are over

And the clouds have rolled away.
