Randale Hamilton

“Lord, I’m your child and You’re my Father.  Take me with you.”  Thus Randal Dale Hamilton prayer was answered on Saturday, July 16, 2016 while a patient at Carolinas Medical Center-Main, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Randal was born July 8, 1958, the son of the late June and Mildred Hubbard Hamilton in Stanly County, North Carolina. He received his formal education in the Stanly County public school system, graduating from West Stanly High School in 1977.  With the love of building anything from houses to buildings, Randal loved the construction industry.  He was last employed with Moore’s Grading Company, Badin, North Carolina.

His church affiliation was as a member of the House of Shiloh Fellowship Church, Albemarle, North Carolina.  He enjoyed helping senior citizens, repairing anything that needed fixing, neighborhood handyman, gardening, fishing and was an avid motorcycle rider.

“Randy” as he was affectionately known, was well loved and loved everybody.  He was a “favorite person” to many family members, neighbors and friends.  He was dependable and always ready to help unselfishly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Chloe Hamilton and Draylan Hamilton; four brothers and four sisters.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life for twenty-nine (29) years, Phyllis Hall Hamilton. God blessed their union with three children: Radale, Shamega, and Jasmine.

He leaves to cherish fond memories of a life well-lived his devoted wife, Phyllis Hall Hamilton, of the home; a son, Radale Hamilton Badin and  two daughters: Shamega Hamilton and Jasmine Hamilton, all of Badin, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Lamon Hamilton, Cali Russell, Jaiden Hamilton, and Amari Hamilton; four brothers: Jesse Hamilton, Albemarle, North Carolina, Willie Hamilton and Charles Hamilton, both of Candor, North Carolina and Ernest Hamilton, Oakboro, North Carolina; five sisters: Pastor Sandra (Bishop Walter) Ellerbe, Loretta Harris, and Reverend Judy (Oscar) Little, all of Wadesboro, North Carolina, Sheila (Arland) Gaddy, Norwood, North Carolina and Minister Emma (JV) Broadway, Albemarle, North Carolina; four sister- in-laws: Wanda Garmon, Robin Hall, Christal Holbrook and Mary Rushing; two brother -in-laws: Norris (Marilyn) Hall and Ray Charles (Bridgette) Hall; a special friend, Michael Lilly, Badin, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
