Pamela Gay (Hatley) Perry

Our beloved, Pamela Gay Hatley Perry, was born December 12, 1952 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was daughter of the late Felix and Nellie Bennick Hatley. She departed her earthly life of 63 years on Friday, May 27, 2016, while a patient at Carolinas Medical Center-Stanly, Albemarle, North Carolina.

Pamela attended North Stanly High School, New London, North Carolina; and after high school she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed church services at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Albemarle, North Carolina. Pamela was a sweet spirit who enjoyed life and loved people. She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes was her specialty, and she always knew what was happening in the community.

She was formerly married to Anthony Perry and they were the parents of three children: Duane, David and Nicole.

Those left to cherish fond memories are, two sons: Duane L. Perry and David E. Perry; a daughter, Nicole M. Perry; two grandchildren: Jarobi and  Jaquez Ratliff; two great grandchildren: Alyssa and Calleigh Ratliff; a sister, Doris Rogers; other relatives and a host of friends who cared deeply about Pamela.
