God in his infinite wisdom called our dearest Micah Gabriel Bryant, to her Heavenly and Eternal home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Micah was ‘Sugar and spice and everything nice’ born December 16, 2007 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She was a special gift of love to her parents Michael and Tanisha Hamilton Bryant.
Micah, a name in the Old Testament, was a great prophet who preached against unjust nations. Our Micah was a loving child, who had a sweet spirit and beautiful smile. A fourth grader at East Albemarle Elementary School, she enjoyed membership on the jump rope team. She loved gymnastics, cooking, singing, and dancing. She was the world’s greatest slime maker and her favorite foods were pickles and McDonald’s nuggets. Oh, how she loved making music videos and sharing them with family and friends. Did we mention how compassionate she was and loved caring for others. Let’s not forget that she was a “Diva” whose hair, nails and outfits were always impeccable.
Micah attended Union Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Albemarle and was a member of the Youth Department.
Not even in death, itself, can deprive us of Micah’s memory. We will remember the times we laughed together, cried together, prayed together, and enjoyed each other’s company for the last 10 years. Her loving smile and sweet spirit will be remembered by: her loving mother and father, Tanisha and Michael Bryant; sister, Shaniya; brother, Camryn; maternal grandparents: Larry and Phyllis Robinson & Michael and Jackie Lilly; paternal grandparents: King and Juanita Bryant & Mary and Franklin James; aunts: Chermaine Robinson, Terri Blackwell, Kristen Lilly, Sasha Lilly, Sha’ Michael Lilly, Ashanta Shankle, Kida Jackson, Kyla Wilson, D’Toya Dove, and Kita Colston; uncle, Kingsley Bryant; special cousins: Malia, Alana, Ariyana, Caelyn, Isia, Amadia, and Gavin, Jr.; best friend, Karrington Baldwin; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and countless friends.
“Good night sweet Micah, may flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest.”
